NEW OXFORD COLONIALS YOUTH FOOTBALL AND CHEER (NOCYFC)
The New Oxford Colonials Youth Football and Cheer (NOCYFC) is a goal oriented 501c3 non-profit organization that introduces both youth and parents to a positive sports program while enriching family and community bonds.
The goal of the NOCYFC is to educate, train and condition young children for the sports of football and cheerleading. We are always concerned solely about the safety of the children and their goals, not necessarily the wins and losses. We are preparing these youth for future years of sports and community involvement; for this is but one very small step in their lives.
The NOCYFC organization operated as the New Oxford Scramblers from 1984 through 2019. In 2018, the NOCYFC joined the York County Youth Football Association (YCYFA), and in 2019 in an effort to better align itself with the Conewago Valley School District (CVSD) middle school and high school football programs, the Scramblers rebranded the name to the New Oxford Colonials Youth Football and Cheer organization and with permission, adopted the CVSD logo.
We offer tackle football and a recreation cheerleading program for for 1st through 7th graders who reside within CVSD.
Our mantra of "Building Future Colonials" means that we work with the high school and middle school programs to develop our kids to be ready to become a member of this great community.
SAFETY
We understand the inherent dangers associated with tackle football, and in an effort to minimize these dangers, we are an organizational member of the USA Football program. Their Heads Up Football® program is developed to advance player safety in this great game.
